SUBJECT: COMMUNITY GRANT TO BLM, SOUTH BEND BLACK EMPOWERMENT FUND AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
On behalf of Robin Hood Revolution, I am pleased to announce a $150,000.00 grant to the South Bend Black Empowerment Fund and Black Lives Matter South Bend Chapter to reduce violence among at risk teens and young adults within our disenfranchised communities.

During yesterday’s Common Council Personnel and Finance Committee meeting it was announced that the City of South Bend would cut significant funding for the Charles Black and Martin Luther King, Jr. recreational centers, located on South Bend’s Westside.

Robin Hood Revolution believes in the City of South Bend and its youth. That is why we will provide funding for local nonprofit organizations working to empower youth in Black, Brown and low-income communities. The six organizations selected will be chosen by the South Bend Black Empowerment Fund and Black Lives Matter South Bend Chapter.

JORDEN GIGER FROM BLM SOUTH BEND AND THE SOUTH BEND BLACK EMPOWERMENT FUND ACCEPTS DIRECTOR POSITION FOR THE ROBIN HOOD REVOLUTION
SOUTH BEND, IN — Jorden Giger will be accepting the leadership role for the Robin Hood Revolution, a platform designed to bring sustainable change to this country.

Together with South Bend Black Empowerment Fund we are providing a hand up to help achieve sustainable food, energy, healthcare and affordable housing.

One of the first action items under this platform will be to begin the process of bringing a multi-acre greenhouse facility to the people of South Bend. This project will provide sustainable, organic fresh foods to the local community and attack the hunger issues created by poverty. This revolutionary facility will be formed and operated as a co-op and provide food to the impoverished members of the community.

In addition to the greenhouse project, Giger will push forward with the launch of the Robin Hood Revolution, a platform designed to help nearly all people of this country. Robin Hood Revolution is a 501c3 organization focused on changing the status quo in our government and essentially in our society. Our Mission is to put “We the People” back in charge of the government and country and eliminate the corruption within our current system.

This platform calls for drastic changes to our society including changes that will bring sustainable, localized foods systems and affordable low-cost housing to people in need. Furthermore, the platform takes an in-depth look at our political systems, school systems, prison systems and more and outlines the changes we must make in this country to shrink poverty levels and widen the middle-class gap which creates a more balanced United States of America.

The Robin Hood Revolution platform outlines grievances that most American people are dealing with in this country. In addition to identifying those grievances, the platform also offers creative solutions to address many of those issues including the legalization of marijuana, a one-time tax on the wealthy elite, and prison reform programs which reduces the monetary impact the prisons impose on the American taxpayer.

Giger will continue to spread the word of the Robin Hood Revolution platform while he is working with nonprofits from around the country to bring the greenhouse programs to their homes.

Giger has actively battled for the rights of all people, regardless of color, sex, or orientation through the South Bend chapter of Black Lives Matter for more than 4 years.
